One-day free eye camp was organized at Mahila(female) Bandi(jail) Griha at Bhotebahal,sundhara,kathmandu under the screening support from Nepal Eye Hospital on April 30, 2005. Entire prisoner of 104 had undergone eye check up Among them 55 prisoners were given free spectacles Vision test and free spectacles were supported by joy foundation Nepal.

 

 

On the request of Siddhartha University, Nala, a one-day free eye camp was organized at Chandeshwori High school at Nala, Kavre under the technical support from Tilganga Eye Hospital on March 01, 2005 . More than 615 village patients were benefited and 100 free spectacles were distributed. among them 28 patients had cataract and free spectacles were distributed. Among them 28 patients had cataract and free operation were done for them at Phulari Gumaba on April 6,2005. BESDEC/Nepal and Leo- Club of pashupati Nath helped for the camp. BESDEC/Nepal's fully co-ordinate and managed.

 

 

One-day Free eye camp was organized at Central Jail on February 29,2005 under the technical support of Tilganga Eye Hospital. Out of 700 prisoners 387 prisoners were undergone for the check up and 87 prisoners were given free spectacles. The camp was organized by the joint effort from BESDEC/Nepal

 

 

First free Eye camp was organized at Bhadrabandi Jail, where 240 prisoner got an opportunity for the checkups. Over 35% patients were found affected and free spectacles were distributed. six prisoners was found to have cataract and free operations were done for them. The Eye camp was organized with the help from joy foundation, and Tilganga Eye Hospital provided the technical support. The Australian Embassy had also supported for the camp.

 

 

Four Years old, Mr. Bhagwan Adhikari Charikot of Dolakha district was badly injured his right eye by needle of spyringe in April 2005. Due to the poor economical condition,his parents didn't able to cure his eye in time. Finally, his father requested to BESDEC/Nepal for this treatment through our member Mr. Kapil Rana. Than after,Mr. Kapil informed to Mr. Bijay Tuladhar and he again requested to Joy Foundation for support. After all these phenomena, the boy has got financial support from Joy Foundation for operation. His operation was done on May 31,2005 at Tilganga Eye Hospital. Mr. Bhagwan is now able to see the beautiful world with his right eye as before.
