A. BESDEC-Nepal's first Eye camp at the Bhadra Bandi Jail Tripureswor , Kathmandu |

First free Eye camp was organized at Bhadrabandi Jail, where 240 prisoners got an opportunity for the checkups. Over 35% patients were found affected and free spectacles were distributed. Six prisoners were found to have cataract and free operations were done for them. The Eye camp was organized with the help from joy foundation, and Tilganga Eye Hospital provided the technical support. The Australian Embassy had also supported for the camp |
| B. Besdec/Nepal's second Free Eye camp at the Central Jail, Tripureswor, Kathmandu |
One-day Free eye camp was organized at Central Jail on February 29, 2005 under the technical support of Tilganga Eye Hospital. Out of 700 prisoners 387 prisoners underwent for the check ups and 87 prisoners were given free spectacles. The camp was organized by the joint effort from BESDEC/Nepal |

On the request of Siddhartha University, Nala, a one-day free eye camp was organized at Chandeshwori High school at Nala, Kavre under the technical support from Tilganga Eye Hospital on March 01, 2005. More than 615 village patients were benefited and 100 free spectacles were distributed. Among them 28 patients had cataract and free operations were done for them at Phulari Gumaba on 2005 6 April BESDEC/Nepal and Leo- Club of pashupati Nath helped for the camp. BESDEC/Nepal's fully co-ordinate and managed. |

One-day free eye camp was organized at Mahila(female) Bandi(jail) Griha at Bhotebahal, Sundhara, Kathmandu under the screening support from Nepal Eye Hospital on April 30, 2005. Entire prisoners of 104 underwent eye check up Among them 55 prisoners were given free spectacles Vision test and free spectacles were supported by joy foundation Nepal. |
